STONES

xlisx.brxwxr

is it just me, the sun smiles..but the moon cries? stones fill holes and we fly by in time? but we don't stop to notice the sun never smiles the moon never cried and we get no where. all i see is a big white circle that lit the way. a yellow ball of fire that burns my face and leaves me wondering what if? and well time is a number that we blame for wrinkles. so the sun never smiles the moon never cried and we get no where. i now see a moon that lets me see a sun that buns me and numbers meaning nothing.

Planet Earth is held in space by the gravity of Brother Sun - which is why he smiles. Sister Moon is held in space by Planet Earth which is why she cries because she is last in order Sun - Earth - Moon. Never take the celestial bodies for granted we are the chosen of the Solar System - the only habitable planet ! I love the free verse and free expression in your poem and the opening question ! We are all unique and in every mystical circumstance we all ask the same question IS IT JUST ME ? and we all get the same answer - YES ! Thanks for sharing and caring Elise - BRIAN.
