Intoxicated
to numb the taste
of you from my lips
i try to numb the pain
yet i wake up emptier
than i did before
Slowly poisoning myself
To remove the venom
You left inside

Heart heavy
Like a ton of bricks
When I heard your voice
I was okay until you
Decided to walk in and out
Of my life
Without any concern
For me
I felt empty
So I called
For you to fill me again
Only to leave me
Emptier than before
