WISCONSIN - TRUMP TRUMPED AND CLINTON JUMPED !

BRIAN & ANGELA

I love American Politics

Primaries are mega - no holds barred

Republicans and Democrats

An open public slanging match

And every one gets scarred !

Wisconsin - What a State to be in

Northern cool and level headed

Beautiful for situation - bordered

By the Great Lakes "America's Dairyland"

Cool and calm and very very ordered.

Wisconsians know just what they want

So they voted as the wished

CRUZ 48% Donald Trump was dished

SANDERS 57% standing on the left

HILLARY just 43 - feeling quite bereft.

Anything can happen

In this presidential race

This is just the Badger State

Take note and watch this space !

  • Comment from author about the poem: UK and USA politics are miles apart when it comes to choosing the Leader. In the last UK General Election it was David (Conservative) Ed (Labour) Nick (Lib Dem) and Nigel (UKIP) as the main contenders for Prime Minister (PM). The leader of the Party who got a majority of votes became PM ! In the end David Cameron had an overall majority of 8 and being British - that was enough. His slim majority meant he has been defeated on a few issues ! In the USA it's all bout the President and every State has its day and its say. The Republicans don't really like Trump (too much in your face) but he is leading and a lot of Democrats don't like Hillary (too much baggage and too political). We can all predict what will happen in November but no one knows for sure. The primaries are always exciting and full of twists and turns ! BRIAN
