Treasure's Jewel

Daniegirl

Love,

We open our hearts to treasure's untold only to be fooled from time to time,

Learning of the value it has on ones heart some tend to play games with the treasure's that are bestowed upon them,

Leaving hurt in the wake of the path,

Broken in the billions of pieces jewels heart mends back together minimizing in value,

Along comes a treasure so bright  and priceless,

Seeing the cracks in the jewels heart,

Anguished  with the hurt that someone bestowed upon Jewel,

Treasure decides to mend the cracks it sees inside the jewels heart,

Not caring that the value of itself will go down,

Polishing and mending jewels pieces restoring to new,

The time Treasure spends on jewels pieces,

Mending,

Shinning like new,

Treasures Jewel.

HI DANIE - WELCOME ! Love your poem - In my experience Broken Hearts always mend because there is always someone who comes along (at the right time !) with lots of TLC and makes us whole again. Sometimes we are the one who mends the broken heart. Our hearts are very precious and often easily broken ! I love the optimism in your last triplet "Mending - Shining like new - Treasures Jewel - PERFECT. Thanks for sharing and caring - BRIAN
