SISTER MOON - sweet shimmering orb
Providing light by night and influencing
Our tides and our love life excitingly !
SISTER MOON - lovely large and close
Venus has no moons and Mars just two
Lumps of rock like the Isle of Wight !
Men have walked on the Moon and
Have experienced her beauty at firat
Hand and felt her Divine influence !
SISTER MOON - was created with a purpose
To be a companion Satellite for Mother Earth
Together with Brother Sun who gives energy !
Never ever take Sister Moon for granted
She is eternally beautiful and we all are
Eternally under her awesome influence !

- Comment from author about the poem: The moon is an awesome Satellite unique in terms of its relative size and closeness and much more important for her influence on Planet Earth. Much more than most of us realise. We should all appreciate and revere The Moon to the same extent as we value our Planet - Earth. The Earth - Moon system is unique in the Solar System and probably the Milky way - our Galaxy. The Earth is a "Living Planet" and 24/7 our Moon helps to keep us all alive.
