Hope

Reivax Camlost

There is a candle

Far, far away

Shines bright, always

And banishes the night

All love it

Have lost it

Most cherish it

In the night

Wander far, wander wide

Wonder when the candle died

In you

The light, did it fail

The flame, did it go

Did the night encroach

Did terror it sow

There is a candle still

Among those who care

Among those who know

That the candle shines always

That the candle is you

And out will not go

And not terror, but beauty

Sow

Thanks REIVAX neat poem - almost in the shape of a candle ! It is full of rhythm and sufficient rhyme to make it flow and easy to recite - a proper poem ! Love the message it sends like candle light. In this dark world. We are all candles sometimes bright sometimes just a flicker but always a glimmer to lighten the darkness. When I've been caving all is darkness and then the smallest of lights transforms the darkness into a subterranean wonderland. We can be like that transforming candles ! How bright are you shining today ? Thanks for caring - please check my odes - BRIAN.
