Deep And Silent

Angel Plant

With frightened tears that streak your face

You hear a cackling from the crows

They mock your fear............

As your heart beats against your chest

You hear a frozen cry..........

With a stare of emotion

As broken windows shatter

Into a curl you roll......

Your sanity has doubts......

It leaves you as a child

You feel fear...........

Around you the mist does dance

Your thoughts wander.........

And you are afraid................

Of a past event...........

Of a memory that lingers

Your heart skips a beat........

That will chill your bones

Right through you goes a stare

You feel it watching you....

The cold night freezes.......

Your lips are cold......

With no one there......

You hear footsteps

Shadows dance before you

With a shawl of cold

You hear a call...........

Deep and silent...........
