Esher

plankton

Pink-eye

A lesser infection,

somewhere an Esher staircase

leads to pox-marked reluctance

Off-shoot

winter vegetables difficult to find

in the hard rabble length

of September-y soil

Whir-whir

goes the ceiling fan,

only trying so hard

to be summer.

  • BRIAN & ANGELA

HI PLANKTON - WELCOME TO My Poetic Side - Great site for avant guard poets ! Love your first poem thanks for sharing. Esher great painter of uncertainty - staircases that both ascended & descended simultaneously - upgang & downgang - just like real life. Pink-eye off-shoot whir-whir like so many septembers always autumny always trying to retain some element of summery. Just like real life - BRIAN
