Depressed now over 50?
Lets just give it all we've got
From skincare to spray tanning well we'll try the whole damn lot
but there are no second glances or the turning of a head
No more male admires who'd like to get you into bed
No more of the wolf whistles when walking down the street
No more knowing that it's you who's turning up the heat
But then no more need to worry have you met the man for you
And no more need to think about should I say I do
Just strutt your stuff like always and show them how it's done
Being over 50 doesn't mean there's no more fun

WELCOME SNOWBALL (great pen name !) love your opening poem. To my eyes most 50+ Females look far better dressed and groomed than 50+ Males and I know lots that turn heads even of us younger Guys. Love the structure of your poem - rhyming couplets give it the force and flow the subject demands. Keep strutting your stuff and I look forward to you next poem ! BRIAN
