A SEED

Yasu Na

Melody continued a long time
until
I woke out of sleep.

Before clouds come,
I will fly away.
I'm a dry seed.

The wind
which is going to carry me
may stop soon.

I say in a high voice,
“I ache, I ache all over.”
Spring is nearly gone.

Thanks YASU - an enigmatic poem ! I love seeds because they contain the blueprint of life DNA ! In my perfect World every seed would germinate and bear "fruit". Your seed is ready willing and able to come to fruition all it needs is soil - sun - shower and then it will burst into life. Sometimes we are like a "dry seed" blown and lost just looking for the right place to bloom & blossom - but - "Spring is almost gone !" - BRIAN

Your view of the world, expressed through your poems, is intriguing. Thanks.

My native language is Japanese. Writing poetry in English is very enjoyable. No matter how my English is unskillful, it makes me select words more carefully. Thank you.
