- Comment from author about the poem: MUHAMMAD ALI (born Cassius Clay Jnr) was respected throughout the World as an awesome Boxer and for his part in the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960's in the USA. Despite suffering from advanced Parkinson's Disease he showed his character by lighting the Olympic Flame in Atlanta Georgia in 1996. He retained his charm and good looks and sense of humour until the day of his death this week ( 3 June 2016). There will never be another Muhammad Ali - may he rest in Peace in Paradise. BRIAN

Beautiful tribute to the champ! Appreciate the time you took to break down and define every letter in his name. We hate to lose him, but God has called the champ home.
