I remember

katherinem7

I remember the day I fell apart
And Nothing would mend my bleeding heart
But you picked up the pieces and arranged them in an order
much better than before

I remember the night I beckoned death
Awaiting my faint and final breath
But you pushed death away and brought me back
Telling me not to go

I remember the time I felt alone
For days I wouldn't leave my home
But you opened the door and walked inside
And held me through the night

I remember the day I kept on crying
I said I was fine, but you knew I was lying
So you wiped away every last tear
and told me you'd do it for a thousand more years

BEAUTIFUL POEM KATHERINE ! A symbiosis of despair and hope ! This is true in my life when I feel low. God knows and understands my situation and sends just the right person to pick me up or one of His Angels just when I am near to breaking. Thanks for caring & sharing. As well as an encouraging content it is a beautifully crafted poem - quatrains & rhyming couplets - perfection ! Yours BRIAN
