ode to Alcohol

germanamericanchurch

U have so much spirit,
U condense the spirit into a resin,
Striping the very essence,
The very meaning of the sacrament,
The vision sings,
Oh alcohol great spirit,
U clean my dirty wounds,
Your refreshment make us reborn,
Into out of balance elephants,
Spirit u can destroy me or save me,
Heal me or vomit on me,
All is in your use,
Your intention is unclear,
Why are u here? Why do u make strange noises in a bottle?
Can spirit contain all the crying?
U never go bad everclear,

So clear to me

    "So clear to me"

    Not clear to ME.
Is this an OBE or an ODE to Alcohol?
I could be wrong.I am drinking coffee right now....🍩🍰

THANKS FOR SHARING GAM - An interesting ODE ! Ethyl Alcohol C2H5OH a simple molecule just three elements (CHO) and nine atoms! She is (like fire) a good servant but a bad master. She is an antiseptic and can cleanse and heal externally and internally. Wine maketh glad the heart of Man. It is also a key element in the sacrament "This is my blood which is shed for you !" It is one of God's many gifts to Man. Hoever like so many of God's good gifts it can be abused. It's abuse leads to inebriation which in its turn causes injury - death - rape etc which are prices too high to pay for a drink too too many. Like SEX it should be used with caution and precaution ! Very insightful, thank u, myself being a non drinking sacrament church member filled with rituals that scare western imaginations, so who am i to judge ? Many great people slipped in the liquor swirl, many people never drink 🙂
