Escaping The greatest catch 22

jobrand

Lyrics and Rhymes, symbols and chimes... all dancing heavenward for the unblind. Love and you will live. And you cannot live till death brings no fear. Yet you must find your own way out from the treacherous spirits that torment here. So round and round we go, in the alligators death roll, from the hieghts of hope, to the depths below. We labor toward love, we fall short. We labor to perfection, and see filthy rags in the mirrors reflection. The past the present and future, all filled with snares. Till our own hearts forget eternal cares. There is one fact, one man, one love, and two nail pierced hands that may deliver us. It is not that we love, we perfect, we search for God. It is that God loves man.

WELCOME JO - Thanks for a great first poem awash with rhyme & rhythm and despair - BUT - in the end HOPE. "God love us so so much - that he sent JESUS to die for our sins and give us Eternal Life in Heaven - AMEN" Yours BRIAN

    Jo,
The Title is ESCAPE...? Fix it.
Along with the category which is spiritual and a better editing of your poem...
My comment is that Anything worth dying for....is certainly worth living for....is even more certainly worth writing about... Right?
    So Keep writing...
