People want to leave their home,
And move to other places,
Somewhere with a new beginning,
Someplace nice and warm.
They want to start all over,
To have a clean new start,
With new friends and new relationships,
To leave their parents arms.
Yet all I want is to stay,
To stay home warm and safe,
I don't want vacation,
To leave my quaint home place.
With the seasons always changing,
Where the air is always nice,
With everybody friendly,
And my little quiet life.
So maybe I don't want to live elsewhere,
Out of my own little zone,
But where I do want to live and stay,
Is my home sweet home.

GREAT POEM EVA - Love the sentiment of "Home Sweet Home". I find with Americans that thay are defined by their Home State ! Texans and Iowans are from different planets. Consequently Americans often end up back in their Home State - Home Sweet Home !" I guess the same is true of Canadians ? Well structured poem full of rhyme and rhythm - Thanks for carin' an' sharin'. Yiours BRIAN
