If Islam wants credibility, they must distance themselves from this shit
The Ali service was beautiful. Showed Islam was a religion of peace
Orlando took us right back to square one. The violence has increased.
Obama released a strong statement. Called it "an act of terror and hate"

We love that particular narrative. That way we don't give a hot damn
Motive is unclear, but suspect took issue with two men kissing

His ex-wife didn't defend him. Described the shooter as "unstable"
How will this reflects on her later? Sympathy may be off the table
The lunatic reportedly beat her because the laundry wasn't finished
Not exactly the picture of mental health, his sanity was diminished
His parents seem apologetic. Didn't defend the awful allegations
Had no idea he could do such a thing. Or his terrorist association
One subtle difference that may to be lost in all the mayhem
Public opinion seems to favor LGBT. Few people are blaming them
Of course the NRA will always draw the same stupid line in the sand
They care only about gun makers. As for gun owners, they don't give a damn
The script doesn't seem to change. We're seeing the same depressing show
But the families affected are still human. Make sure you have #PrayersForOrlando

Thanks for your tribute DD. This is hard news for us to take in the UK ~ it must be devastating for decent Americans like yourself. The USA has to wake up ! The WILD WEST is dead and gone ~ just MAKE GUN OWNERSHIP ILLEGAL ~ like we did in the UK. The Americans I speak to ~ when i stay in American homes ~ admit nobody in the USA really needs a gun. Th good guys have to have a gun 'cos the bad guys have them ! Take them all away (good & bad) and the problem would be solved We are praying for ORLANDO (where many Brits own homes) and the whole of America. Hillary is a Woman (I'm sure you noticed !) and I hope when she is elected she will work to dump the Gun Lobby as well as TRUMP ! Yours BRIAN
Hi Brian! Get rid of guns in the USA? Much easier said than done. Americans love their guns and will fight you tooth and nail to keep them. The NRA gun lobby is a powerful, well-funded organization that strikes fear in the hearts of politicians. They bully and bribe to get their way and stop at nothing to impose their will. Hillary seems to want sensible gun laws but she'll fight a steep uphill battle trying to making a dent in the gun debate. Thanks - DD
