Don\\\'t

poetasia

Don’t

Don’t just roll over in bed and reach out for me, I am not there

Don’t get bugged by my new look…………. I am not Tom Cruise.

Don’t get bothered that I got a girlfriend, you have too many, :D

Don’t be angry that I spend money on her and pay your loan slowly

Don’t be annoyed of your new boyfriend wanting lots of sex

The scene would look better if I get jealous of him

Honey, I fought so much for you, I forgot how jealousy feels like

Love the bathroom?

It’s lot cleaner now.

You wanted to say sorry for so many things, you don’t need to,

You thought you were mad at me; you were mad at yourself.

You think I would have been a great dad,

I would have done barbecue with the kids…………………True!!

You miss me,

Hey, I already know but would love to listen from you :D

WELCOME POET ! Great first poem full of angst and passion. I've never been married (yet) so my experience of divorce is only secondhand as I dry my friends tears and lavish them with TLC ! Your well penned poem gives a glimpse and I love the repetition of DON'T it adds poignancy. The bit about "Being a great Dad" made me sad. I've never been a Dad and would love to ~ when I find a MUM (Wife). There is a positive note in your DIVORCE POEM which encourages me to keep encouraging my Friends who are still suffering from divorce-pains. More poems please. Thanks BRIAN (UK 33).

THANK YOU FOR THE COMPLIMENT FROM HEART!! Glad to know that you love the repetition "Don't". "Being a great dad" made me sad too. But hey, this life is too short to accept other than happiness.

Best of luck to find a great MUM. Keep using your kind, complimenting words to women ;). They will get quickly infatuated with the sweetness of your words. Best of luck.

Keep encouraging all the men going through divorce or separation. Let them know, there is an other side. By going through this process of heat-wrenching pain with kindness and unconditional love to their wives, they will be a human being, they did not know, that was there.
