- Comment from author about the poem: I love A B C Darian poems. Q X and Z are always a problem but happily not for this one ! Try one for yourself (on any subject) it only takes four hours with a good dictionary. Thanks for reading ~ BRIAN

So if you want to describe Love, you open up a DICTIONARY,Brian?
Innocent 33 year old Boy!!💑💏
THNAKS LYSI ~ You can find love in a dictionary it comes between LOVABLE and LOVE AFFAIR in the Longmans New Generation Dictionary ! As you know "Love is a many splendoured thing" and I need the whole dictionary to find all the adjectives to describe all "The aspects of love" I have experienced in my lifetime ! Yours as ever BRIAN
Hi Brian,
This poem made me smile from some of the cute lines, I like the style and may well have a go at writing one. Does each line have to begin with the chosen theme as in yours it's 'LOVE IS' or can it be a straight poem but containing each letter of the alphabet...
You mentioned many of the emotions love brings for sure.. but still I'm smiling from ' Perky and Quirky but Ropey (some days !)
Great choice words and clear imagery 🙂 Love it...Smiles and Regards to you...Dee
Thanks DEE ~ at 33 I am old enough to have shared many emotions of LOVE but still too young to understand. In a classical ABCDarian Poem each line should begin with a succeeding letter of the alphabet or a word beginning with the letter as in the song ~ A you're adorable ~ B you're so beautiful ~ C you're a cutie full of charms (I hope you take that personally !). I have posted a previous one 26 SHADES OF PURPLE. The only rule as I see it is that it must contain (somewhere in the poem and in alphabetical order) 26 words each beginning with a separate letter of the alphabet. The words must be apposite to the title. Both mine (I believe !) are good examples. You could try one on Flowers or Birds etc ~ Any Colour is another good example. Yours as always ~ BRIAN
Thank you Brian for taking the time to explain .It sounds a fun way to write and I
will have a go .....I love challenge poems. Smiles and Thank you again....Dee
