Writers Block

Sai

Paper, pen on top

Tea on the floor, grab a mop

Writers block

Knock knock

Who's at the door

Sales robot what a bore

Get back to work

Googles up time to lurk

Forget what your doing and have a search

That guys hot

Or maybe not

 Tummy's grumbling

Run to the kitchen and start rumbling

Bake a cake

Like your mother use to make

Comes out burnt

That's a lesson learnt

Jump on the sofa

Like a big fat loafer

Check your phone

Friends having a moan

Sounds like a drone

Tap on the window, it's the cleaner

It's Sheena or is it Nina

Pay her two twentys

To show her you have plenty

Get ready to go out

But wait!

Shout out, it's late!

Forgot your work

Time to go beserk

Writers block

What a wet sock

Took longer then you thought!

You know what happens to people who stay in the middle of the road?
    They RANDOM get run over!

I like to be random ALL the Time... Keep writing,😯😕
    I do not suffer from reader's Block.😃😁

You know what happens to people who cross the road? They actually make it to the other side! How RANDOM 😏😶 That's fab there are only a few random people in this random world! (High five for all the times we've used the word random 😬) Happy reading!

WELCOME SAI ~ Love your first poem ! Love the structure ~ rhyming couplets (my fave !) and lots of rhythm (great to recite) and written in one frenetic stanza ! Answering (the door) googling ~ baking ~ paying the cleaner (£40 ~ big spender !) and then getting ready to go out ! Sometimes life is a wet sock ~ love your choice of words ~ more poems please ! Lovely to get a "fun poem" so much melancholy lately. Lost twice in Europe and our PM and Manager ~ at least Murray is through his first round @ Wimbledon ! Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN (UK 33).

Thank you Brian! I like to make my readers think, I guess you've grasped the notion in this poem very well 😆 my words are an expression of how frantic my own brain can be haha you start one line and the rest just keeps on coming! Oh England is doing us so proud .. (can you feel the sarcastic tone in that ..) never mind! We'll all just have a cuppa and have a good old moan, nothing different there!

I will keep writing (unless I have writers block)

        Yours, Saira - Aka Sai
