Broken Trust

teenageheartbreak

He trusted you, He let you in
You let him down all over agian
He's never gonna love no one again
So many lies you shady bitch

He fell in love but fell too deep
He fell so hard he broke his feet
Now he cries himself to sleep
Replaying the words you chose to speak

It didn't have to be this way
Could've just said yes and chose to stay
But you refused, now it's to late
But He still at night thinks of your face

He wants to die
So he doesn't eat
Nobody cares
It's just him that weeps

WELCOME THB ~ Thank you for a very poignant and passionate first poem. We have all been Teenagers and in retrospect it is never easy. Growing up ~ reaching out ~ exploring sexuality and relationships. When it all goes pearshaped "We want to die ~ So we don't eat ~ Nobody cares ~ It's just me who weeps". We do get over it (slowly) and live to love again ~ BUT ~ coping with the rejection of a Lover never gets any easier. A well structured poem with rhyme and rhythm. The structure complemented the so sad subject. Thanks for caring and sharing ~ Yours BRIAN

"Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters, cannot be trusted with important matters."

"So many lies you shady bitch" Versus "Could've just said yes and chose to stay?!"

Did she lie or reject Him? What's the TRUTH?

To clear any confusion because I can see where it's at.... This is about a girl that I've let into my life once and she completely screwed me over. She later on made it seem as if she had changed and after 3 days of thinking it over I decided y not. The lies were things like "He's just a friend", "Nothing will ever change", ect... So not only did I want/need her to leave me, like I said in the middle, I fell hard for her. I didn't want her to at the same time and even tried to compromise (but I didn't include that). She refused to give all of her male "friends" up and all that stuff. This was just me brainstorming for my next poem. I'll make sure it's way more understandable.
