Time like an ever rolling stream
Bears all her Boys & Girls away
They fly ~ forgotten as a dream
Flies at the opening day !
Time rules our lives
We're governed by the clock
As through each day one ducks an' dives
Driven on by each tick-tock
Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
Friday Saturday and Sunday
Each day sometimes is a worse day
Every week has its Black Monday
Summer ~ Autumn ~ Winter ~ Spring
For every Month there is season
Who knows what will each one will bring
Poetic justice ~ rhyme or reason ?
2 - 0 - 1 - 6 will soon be gone
2 - 0 - 1 -7 follows on
Time move on ~ we cannot save
First the Cradle ~ then (alas) the Grave !

- Comment from author about the poem: TIMEWISE we are all born equal. Each of the 7.5 billion people currently living on planet Earth each receive 24 hours every single day. Its our environment and circumstances that makes us all unequal. If I have to walk 2 hours ~ each day ~ to get a bucket of impure water or a bundle of twigs I don't have much time to surf the web on the computer I don't have. Time is directed by the rotation of the Earth on its axis each day and the rotation of the Earth round the Sun each year. However we have turned it into Black Art and a shackle round our necks and feet. Time is precious ~ a good servant but a bad master ~ the mistake of 21st C Society is letting ourselves be ruled by time and not the converse. Thanks for reading please comment ~ Love BRIAN
