the lord is my witness
and i ask for his forgiveness
clean and sobar sounds pretty good
but its not so easy living in the hood
my life is a mess
the lords greatest test
between good and evile i must make my choice
so i pray to the father that i find my voice
i know im living wrong
but i can turn it around
its time to show the world just what i found
christ died on the cross to forgive my sins
and to me thats worth more then riding in a benz
its time to see clearly
time to look thru the lens
the one the lord gave me
that sees no diffrents in skins
the sky only goes so far
but beyond theres much more
kinda hard to imagin sittin on the floor
imagin not having no where to go
so you sleep behind the store
thanking christ for our forgiveness is the #1 chore
