- Comment from author about the poem: Everyone in the UK wanted Wales to win the European Cup. Bales and Ronaldo both play for Real Madrid but last night they were on different sides and it was (alsa) Ronaldo who found the net and the dream faded. In EURO 2016 ~ It was Wales who won our HEARTS for their determination and will to win ~ so so lacking in England who froze to defeat against Iceland ! Thanks Wales for restoring the UK's pride in The Beautiful Game ! Love BRIAN XOX
