When Waking Up Feels Meaningless

Survivor48

Self-dignity surrenders to cause,

Giving up on the meaning of life.

No purpose can’t spark a dream,

So people hide in the isolated mattress.

Negativity controls the mind,

Leading to a state of depression.

The battle for happiness is brutal,

Fighting for the most important emotion.

Determination is the stimulate for living,

Starting with the first step out of bed.

Thanks "S 48" ~ A great set of couplets which (if we are honest) we can all relate to when the alarm rings @ 7am ! However in my case as soon as my bare feet touch the cold floor ~ reality kicks in and a New Day dawns. Thanks GOD for cold floors ! Yours BRIAN

Allow yourself to get distracted when you go to bed...and at least then you'd have a good reason of wanting to stay under the sheets.
Better go to bed now,my friend.
