Sonnet 1: For a friend

Just.Dev

Let us write poetry while you are high.

But act normal your parents think you're clean.

All the good things you do are a lie.

Smoking all this weed will make you a fiend.

Do not have sex unless you are in love.

Parents mouths are full of orders to do.

It is not know that all you need is a shove.

You seek houses with hanging tennis shoes.

But eventually your problems will end.

You will no longer need drugs to be glad.

Please don't jump, just hang in there my dear friend.

Trust me pal, i would know, i once was sad.

That ended, as i came true to myself.

All you need in life is a little help.

WELCOME DEVANY ~ Thanks for a powerful first poem ~ I love Sonnets. We get high with a little help from our Friends ~ we get by with a little help from our Friends ! There is a great moral in your well penned Sonnet ~ we were all rebellious Teenagers once but eventually most of us grow up (with a little help from our Friends and lots of help form our Families) to be responsible Citizens. Thanks for caring and sharing ~ Yours BRIAN
