Beyond

Skye Marlene

I will NOT allow you to take my words from my breath!

You turn them into tornados that tare apart my thoughts,

I will not let you become my thoughts..

I was stuck in guck for far to long!

Life, motionless.

Emotions, numb.

The only thing running

Was the wine from this shell.

But I am not a shell anymore!

I will NOT allow you to turn me back into a corpse!

This guck has transformed into a pond,

But the soil will always remain stained..

I will no longer permit you to tred upon me with the past.

For I am a blooming lotus flower,

Trying to strech beyond the clouds,

To bath within the light.

THANKS SKYE ~ Reads like an interesting metamorphosis. We are creatures of Eternity and can be flora or fauna or even human for 70 years ! Guck ~ a shell ~ wine ~ a corpse (even) ~ BUT ~ then at last a LOTUS FLOWER ~ high incarnation. If I become a Lotus Flower I would want to stay that way for eternity ~ BEAUTIFUL ! Thanks for sharing. BRIAN
