Skye Marlene

When people said,"follow your heart,"

I would always laugh.

My heart is just a muscle that pumps blood through out my body.

I took it too seriously,

I still do.

But I listen and feel it sometimes,

The beating and squeezing.

If i had truly listened to it,

The wish would already be fulfilled,

The beating and squeezing would have stopped.

They say,follow your heart,

I typically dont 'follow' anything,

But if i did I would always choose to follow my soul

Because its the only thing that can truly be free.

THANKS SKYE ~ EVERY ORGAN IS VITAL ~ for our life and our quality of life ! Heart ~ more than just a pump ! Lungs ~ more than just a pair of bellows ! Liver ~ a great sorting house of our nefarious diets and our Kidneys purifying our water works. They all affect our life and our love ! And YES our SOUL (free spirit) that controls our moods and madness "What shall we give in exchange for our soul ?. I agree with you final sentiment "We are truly free when we are never slaves to others but in control of our destinies of Body & Soul." Thanks BRIAN
