The songs of pain will reach up high
And tears will fall down from the sky
The souls of those not meant to die
Are queuing up in heaven .
There up were there not meant to be ,
They should be here with you and me ,
Oh such a sorry state to see,on 14. Th of the 7th.
How can it be a bad mistake ,to go outside to celebrate,is this the world we have to take ,where people have to contemplate,and live amongst such wretched hate ,
The songs of pain they reach up high,
For those who were not meant to die
Again tears fall down from the sky,
As more souls rise to heaven.

THANK YOU ISITU ~ For a very sensitive poem on the horrific massacre in NICE (France). Nice is a beautiful resort on the Riviera and the last place on Earth where on would expect "massacre by motor" just as planes were used in 911. There is no peace ~ there is no protection ~ we are all in peril from our neighbours ~ who can we trust ? Your opening and closing stanzas are very very haunting !
