Blue swallow

AlitaOpal

I take responsibility for the way that I feel,
For it is my perception on what I think is real,
No need for explanations or even be apologetic,
I can only forgive myself for being pathetic,
We blame each other for not meeting our expectations,
This viscous cycle has been going on for generations,
Can we not look at ourselves and make the changes,
Instead of looking at each other like complete strangers,
Our souls are connected, belonging to the supreme absolute,
Realise your greater than your fears, which are so minute..
I'm bringing it back home, going back to Love..
It's going to take a bigger me to give me a shove..
In that direction I have faith others will soon follow..
Like a sign in the sky, look out for that blue swallow..

  • Comment from author about the poem: In life I've come to realise that through my own personal experiences, I have the power to be in control of myself and not others. I've realised that it's not about trying to change or manipulate the world but perhaps how I perceive the world.. I feel that taking responsibility for ourselves especially on how we think and act is more effective.. I am able to accept any and everything and to me that is truly liberating..

BEAUTIFUL POEM AND VISUAL ALITA ~ The blue swallow is free and happy in its own ariel dimension. Your lovely poem invites us to be less inhibited and ~ in essence ~ to be as "Free as a Bird !" Love it thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN
