My story isn't over yet
But you can never bet
That like is something unique
Even when it's most bleak
Everyone has one chance
For the perfect dance
And for someone to be the one
Even when you feel like no one
Never let anyone bring you down
Because we refuse to drown
So be yourself even if your bruised
And even if your used
Because there is allways sun after the rain
You can do this and get through the pain
So my story's not over yet and
I'll make a bet that it gets better
So stay beautiful and hopefull!

WELCOME RHI RHI ~ Thanks for a very personal poem (from your heart) ~ sad ~ but beautifully presented in perfect rhyme and rhythm. Sometimes on MPS the most poignant poems are presented in the most beautiful language ~ this in itself is cathartic. I am old enough to have wonderfully loved and then painfully lost. There is much pathos in your first three stanzas and rightly so. From experience I can empathise with the hope and optimism in your final stanza ~ beautiful !
