MY GOD ~ IS MY SHEPHERD ~ AMEN !

BRIAN & ANGELA

GOD is my constant companion 

His love meets my every needs

Wherever I go he guides me

My soul with His Spirit he feeds 

 

Whether I'm high in the mountains

Or deep in the valley steep

His rod and His staff they comfort me

And close by his side I will keep !

 

Ee'n though I walk in the shadow of death

He gives strength to my arm

Scatters my enemies ~ restores my health

Protects me from wounding and harm

 

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

Every day that I live of the life I've been given

And when I die ~ I'll be lifted on high  

For eternity ~ with my God ~ in HEAVEN

  • Comment from author about the poem: The Book of Psalms is in the Bible ~ Old Testament and it contains truth about JEHOVAH shared equally between Christians and Jews. There are 150 and I read one ~ systematically ~ every day. There are 150 Psalms so in a year i read each one twice and some three times ! In the UK the Gideons give each 11 year-old as they start Secondary School a copy of the New Testament and The Psalms. Why not try reading a Psalm every day ~ it will give you spiritual comfort and guidance to face each new day ~ AMEN. Love to all BRIAN XOX
