Judgments Last Call

Leah Sharp

Pleasant days turn into Morbid thoughts
as yet another bright orb succumbs to daily defeat

On bended knee with liquid orbs we often times
reflect on our lives repleat

When at last the bell tolls no more as sands of time
have run out

will we hear our sweet judgment calling...or will we scratch and claw
with doubt

WELCOME LEAH ~ Thanks for challenging first poem ! The answer to your dilemma lies in the question "Am I prepared to meet my GOD ?" On the Day of Judgement we will stand before GOD divested of all our worldly goods and honours and achievements. God only has two answers "Depart from Me i never knew you !" or "Well done you were a good and faithful servant ~ enter into the Joy of the Lord". How well we knew God in this life ~ will determine how well he knows us in the next. A challenging question ~ thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN
