In the mirror you see yourself in all your beauty , But yet you still hide behind a mask of fakery . You do this because you believe that you must meet everyone's standards of you . You don't realize your true beauty and how unique your true self really is . Take off the mask , Be the real you , Let the world know that this is you and you can't change for anyone .

WELCOME SQ ~ Awesome video and a very wise first poem ~ they complimented each other ~perfect first contribution. I was recently in VENICE and we saw the performers in their masks and medieval costumes ~ beautiful. I bought a mask (like the one the girl wore in the film). I wore it to a party and felt great ~ BUT ~ it was only a MASK which hid the real me ! Love the message in your poem ~ TAKE OF YOUR MASK ~ BE YOURSELF ! Thanks for caring and sharing ~ Yours BRIAN
