pain.

ravage

I can't feel my finger tips

My body is so numb

My eyes begin to shatter

While my lungs start to burn

My skin begins to crawl while my eyes start to do the same

This is what happens when you take the blame

You drop to your knees and ask why

Why are you the one to feel like you want to die

No words could describe what you feel inside

No human could help you with the battle you subside

But your battle has just began...

WELCOME RAVAGE ~ Thanks for challenging first poem and haunting visual ! I like the structure of your poem and the way you have emphasised the effects of your pain in RED. Life's path is never smooth and in a catastrophe lots of people are hurting and it helps if SOMEONE is prepared to take the Blame. When You or I take the Blame it lessens their pain and consequently ours increases ! Your poem ~ about the intense angst of blame ~ is harrowing but also very true in experience. We should always be willing to accept Blame but bearing the pain is often unbearable. Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN
