Mirrored in the sea

When I'm alone and by the ocean,
I see the waves in fluid motion
Its clear to me
The stormy sea
Mirror's my emotion

Wild beauty you can't control
Relentless waters pitch and roll
It's clear to me
The restless sea
Mirror's my own soul

Untamed unbroken no end or start
Destructive nature, living art
Its clear to me
The breaking sea
Mirror's my own heart

And as the sea
I want to be
Deep calm wild and free

    Welcome SAM and thanks for an excellent first poem ! We can all relate to the sea especially when we are young ! We are stormy ~ restless and breaking (fragmented) ~ and (deep down) we all want to be deep ~ calm ~ wild ~ free because "It mirrors our own hearts !" Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN
