her

caroline-o

the way she would laugh

hand resting upon my arm

smile warm and entrancing

she smelled of sugar and roses

her voice melodic and composed

i fell in love with her company

and while she would always smile back

she thought nothing of mine

WELCOME CAROLINE ~ Thanks for a delicate and lovely first poem. It happens and I also have some lovely Female friends. Lovely scent (honey and jasmine) melodic voices etc. I love to be with them and (in the main) they tolerate my presence ! I have lots of Male friend as well but my relationship with then is based on Man-talk not scent ! See my poem "Scent of a Woman" Thanks for sharing BRIAN.
