Confluence or tie dye

Desaru

Would it be better to have

Two worlds encounter

But never commingle

Or

Would it be better to have

Two worlds encounter

Creating a unique, new, virgin world

Would it be better to have

Two oceans meet

But never intertwine

Or would it be better to have

Two oceans meet

Each having a different blue hue

To mingle and create a new shade

Would it be better to have

A yes

And a no

Or

Would it be better to have

A yes

Maybe

And a no

Would it be better to have

Violin melody

Piano melody

But you not dare mix the two

Or

Would it be better to have

A violin melody

Accompanying

Piano melody

Creating a graceful tune

Would it be better to have

One drop of red

One drop of blue

Never mix the two

Or

Would it be better to have

A new purple hue

  • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thank for sharing DEZ ~ A very philosophical poem ~ penned to make us think. Your poem partially answers itself especially in the last inquisitive couplet ! Would it be better to have a new purple hue ? YES YES YES of course it would Purple is my fave color ~ where would be with out it. My answer to your overall question is also YES. Aloneness is anathema ~ Nature always works in pairs ~ for every YING there is always a YANG. Male & Female ~ Day & Night ~ Earth & Moon ~ Hot and Cold ~ Black and White ~ Wet & Dry etc. These things are all OK on their own but together ~ Like Piano & Violin they create a harmonic duet ! Give me two in harmony any time ~ Yours BRIAN
