Sunny day skies sitting on the docks
Nothing more than tossing rocks
Misty breezes whispering words of love
As I look to the sky surrounded by turtle doves
Swept away by oceans loving arms
Crystal clear waters the have done harm
Swarmed by colorful fish of the rainbow
I inspect each fish to the detail wrapped in bows
Smiling under the waves with open eyes
Always excited to see what's new under adventurous skies
Drowning in the love is so harmonious
Swept away in vows unceremoniously
Blink once and smile twice holding hands on the docks
Love forever promised in a kiss with no other blocks
Hearts combined following beat of placid waves
Leaving with hearts skipping look back to the memory that was made

- Comment from author about the poem: I wrote it about someone I once knew and now know how much I love them and want them back after 8 or so years. When they took my first kiss

i LOVE THIS!!!
WELCOME DREW ~ Thanks for a very beautiful first poem ! Elegant in structure ~ four quatrains and rhyming couplets which give it rhyme and rhythm ! Sensuous in content ~ I never forget the memory of my first loving kiss ~ it haunts my heart for ever ! Thanks for sharing BRIAN
