Falling Through Love

DieIdeeDerKraftEinerIdee

I am the gallant knight

Glinting armor worn tight

As I slay the beasts of the night

But there is one beast I cannot slay

That one, the beast that dwells in my heart, long to stay

This beast has a disguise, and she is beautiful

Even I can hardly realize that underneath she is a wicked troll

Maybe I should stab her where she lies

For my silver sword cannot see its disguise

WELCOME DIEIDEE Thnaks for your first poem. Nice structure ~ rhyme & rhythm ! Interesting subject ~ We all encounter TROLLS ~ but when they actually enter our heart in the guise of a beautiful MAIDEN .................. It is high time to unsheath the Silver Sword ! Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN
