So many faces in this photo.
Many from different races,
them all forming a kaleidoscope.
Young and older full of life.
Look at them together, and
see their expression alive.
A photo of many faces, all
enjoying life. In their look there’s
a message, I mean no harm.
All happily smiling, carefree
spreading their joy abundantly.
When death comes, their faces bare.
A somber look now dresses them
and starts to mar their faces,
because death visits them.
But death is not the end
to these happy faces. All
will rise and come alive.

Thanks for caring RR ~ a dreadful carnage. PULSE an LGBT Nightclub in Orlando. Normal Young People ~ mainly Hispanic ~ gunned down without mercy by OMAR MATTEEN. We must pray for the Families of the dead and for the injured. Thanks for a beautiful poem as homage to a very very sad occurrence. Your BRIAN

I never really felt permission to mourn my LGBT brothers and sisters from that night, but this helps me enter a process long overdue. Thank you for being such a beautiful writer
