Alone Again

Eeva

That sense of dread,

When you are alone,

And that time when you don't fit in.

With your friends all gone,

And that pit in your stomach,

Of being alone once again.

You feel like the outcast,

The one behind the rest,

With no one to go to and trust.

You know that they'll come back,

But you have no idea when,

A month, a week, or even a day.

So just hunker down,

And wait for it to pass,

'Cause there's nothing else to be done.

Thanks EVA ~ love all your poems ! There is angst and hope in this one so I can empathise. Sometimes all my Friends seem to disappear at once. However (like you) I have faith that they will return ~ and (so far) they always do ! Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN
