By the end of the day,
We close our eyes alone.
Yes even when s/he hugs you.
Our spirits which are partly in our body and mostly out of it, longs for connectivity.
It the sky, spirits merge easily like a dance between clouds.
In our body-minds, spirits long for the touch. That is why we hug, and kiss .
In a mutual act of love, orgasm is a unity- one organism.
During our life journey, we collect moments of togetherness.
Yet, by the end of the day
We close our eyes, alone.

AT THE END OF THE DAY I KNEEL AND PRAY ........................ ! As usual AVI there is so so much truth and commonsense in your lovely poem. GOD in his wisdom gives us a lifetime in a physical body and we all crave and enjoy love. Mutual orgasms make us one and the mutual release heightens our physical pleasure. But God also created us (H. Sapiens) as intellectual beings so we crave knowledge and understanding (thanks God for the W.W.W. !). But ~ because we are created in IMAGO DEO ~ we are SPIRITUAL BEINGS ! Consequently we need Spiritual stimulation ~ through fellowship ~ prayer ~ worship etc ! Are you getting enough ? Your Spiritual Soul Mate ~ BRIAN
dear Brian
i describe state of beings we are all in this together ... but alone... like cells in an organism that are aware of themselves. yes there are one, yet singularity of a cell is one as well.
love the attention you give - you are a sun... most people are a moon... shine!
