She wakes up and drained
But she puts on a smile depsite all the pain
She keeps it all in until it all bursts
All the tears and all of the hurt
They say its ok and they're there to lean on
But the next time she needs them they have moved on
She longs to be heard and longs to be held
By someone who loves her and wants to be help
But every time she finds one, they stay for a bit
But then she finds out they were all talking sh*t
Thats why she is broken and cant open up,
Her trust has been lied to amd cant be brought up.
She gave up on trying shes had enough,
To have hope when she cant open up

Thanks LISA ~ for another lovely structured poem from your loving heart. It is something we can all relate to more or less. People need People ! A Friend of my Mum's (who is 90) who lives in a luxury Retirement Home said to me when I visited "I wish I had a chum !" she is dying of "friend starvation" surrounded by opulence and dementia. Perhaps it's even worse when you are still young ! Thanks for sharing ~ Thanks for being my Friend ~ Yours BRIAN
I agree with that. Everyone needs a friend. Sometimes its hard to find a friend and we all need that boost, but thank you for commenting. I appreciate the support 😊
