Young Slave

Tony36

She was taken from her family

At a young age

She works had labor

During the day

She prefoms sexual favors

At night

She's been beaten

Molested

Broken

Scared for life

The bruises

A bloody purple

Her only friend

Another

Like her

Bought and sold into slavery At a young age

Together  they fight

To haung on

Together they draw strength

To make it

Day after day

Both beaten

Both abused

Together as friends

Thanks TONY ~ A very moving poem ~ lovely structure ~ dreadful subject ! When one reads about child slavery and consequent child abuse it makes one ashame to be a Member ofthe Human Race. We all have a lot to answer for ~ Thanks for caring ~ Yours BRIAN

you poem is very sad, but very true
I agree with Brian we should be ashamed
of our selves that this is still happening. ww
