- Comment from author about the poem: I love all aspects of the USA (except TRUMP) and hope to stay in all 50 ~ US States before I'm 50 ! So far I have actually overnighted in about 20. This of course includes the ones mentioned above ~ New York (State) ~ Illinois ~ Texas ~ California and New Mexico. For Brits every State is like a different Country ! Different in its Accent ~ Attitude ~ Cuisine ~ Scenery and Climate. USA one beautiful and awesome Country ~ divided into 50 very different States of existence ! In my experience Americans are not born equal ~ They are conditioned (for life !) according to the State they are born in. Texans and Iowans are from different Planets ! If you have never visited the USA ~ pack your bags and head for New York ~ New York tomorrow ! Love BRIAN XOX

OK ROBERTO ~ Pleased you liked it ! I will post some UK LUNES tomorrow. I like the 5 3 5 form (centered) because the shorter middle line imparts a nice diablo shape to the ODE and also ameliorates the message of lines one and three. Whereas in a HAiKU (5 7 5) the (centered) shape is obese and the longer middle line diminishes lines one and three.! UK Sample ~ LONDON home of Kings # and beggars # Earth's megopolis !
