Forgiveness

Survivor48

The sword of fury stabs us in the back,

Sparking the fire by resentment.

Flames ignite into a huge grudge,

With hatred burning in our eyes.

If a person repents their past sins,

Eradicate the arson of fueled anger.

Life is too short to scorch in rage,

A blaze that depletes the quality of life.

Thanks for sharing SURVIVOR ~ beautiful couplets each replete with truth and sound advice and truth about forgiveness. There are two sides to every conflict ~ BUT ~ if either side is prepared to forgive ~ the conflict disappears ~ Thanks BRIAN
