Where?

clockwork

Where do you go when the light stops shining
Where you no longer feel the presence of angels just demons
Where your darkest thoughts bring joy to their ears
They whisper cold words of advice to Help you decide
A never ending torment
Family and friends stay distant
They don't want to get sucked in to the twisted place that is my mind
A road leading to nowhere

nowhere but insanity

WELCOME CW ~ Thanks for a vey challenging first poem. Well penned but with a very sad subject ~ WHERE ? The MIND is at the root of our depression and can (last line) drive us to insanity. The GOOD BBOK tells us we can be transformed "By the renewing of our Minds". My experience is when we allow a higher force (GOD) into our lives # our depression can be lifted. Thanks for sharing ~BRIAN
