The sweet girl
everyone
once knew
tries to block out
the sex
the pills
the cigarettes
the liquor
but far too late
now she masks
these smells
with perfume

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem means the world to me. I guess it shows the fact that even though someone so sweet and nice can get on the bad side of things at times, and the part with the perfume, its like if she sprays the perfume on herself it\'ll mask the smells and no one will know what she is doing in the reality everyone see\'s and knows whats she is doing. Its kind of like one way glass.
