Dream

Jade Sarah Lousie

 Dream,

The dream for me would be,

for me to wake up,

make all this go away,

no suffering, no pain for you,

no stress no worries,

just like it was before 2010,

But I can't dream of that now,

can I the reality I have to face,

but I will face it with you,

be your support stand by you,

let nothing hurt you,

I will always be here for you,

just as you are for me,

I want to return the favour to you,

I wish I could help,

It's you my Mom,

I love you so much

Thank you, that you are still here with us,

continue to be,

for how long we will never know,

so make the most of it all,

just wish I could dream... <3

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem, is very personal to me, it is about having a dream, where I wish I could help my Mum, take away her pain and suffering, as she has terminal Cancer, an inoperable brain tumor.. She has had it since 2010.. with the help of the big treatment every so often. So we enjoy everyday as it comes.. This is to make sure people who in similar situation never lose hope and keep dreaming and make the most everyday with loved ones and life as we only get one shot. enjoy today as never know what tomorrow brings. Hope you enjoy this read and it touches your hearts. Jade... (Sorry if upsets anyone too much but needs to be shared)

THANKS JADE ~ Very helpful ! Most of us have shared a similar experience with a Friend or a Loved One. So we can empathise. I find prayer helps and so often I am the answer to my own prayer. God gives me more patience and empathy and I am able to give my Loved One or Friend more TLC. We can never ever give too much or care too much for our Parents. Every Blessing ~ Yours BRIAN.
