To the moon

rrodriguez

Why are you lonely and sad?
Is it because there in the immensity

of space there is no company where you are
among the stars in the galaxy?

I look at you and you do not smile,
with a serious face and distressed.
I think it's because you are lonely
and you have no one by your side.

I want you to know I'm with you
in this sad and long walk of life.
Let us walk together on this journey
and together we will beat loneliness.

MOTHER EARTH ~ And Sister Moon work in perfect harmony. The Moon id so so near the Earth (only 0.25M miles) and I believe this gibes them a perfect symbiosis. Mother Earth of course is the only Living Planet and her job as GHIA is maintaining her equilibroum to provide a home for US and all the Flora & Fauna. It is in essence a role reversal of Mother & Daughter because the Moon is so so important in her role to maintain the tides and provide light at night and her influence on all our life cycles. So perhaps one reason the Moon is lonely is because she is looking after he Mum (who is 4.54 billion years old) and no one is looking after the Moon. Buzz Aldrin is a great Moonophile ! Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN

I like your response and maybe I'll write a poem about a Mother & Daughter (the earth and the moon symbiosis). Thanks for your encourage and knowledge.

HOLA ROBERTO ~ Well I am a LUNATIC ! I follow BUZZ ALDRIN on face book and give a talk on his life. The Moon Landing was before I was born ~ but I believe the first one (Aldrin Armstrong Collins) in Appolo 11 was the greatest scientific achievement in the 20th Century. I love all poems about the Moon. The Moon is slightly younger (4.53 billion years) than the Earth which suggests that (like a true daughter) she was formed from the Earth ~ OK. Hasta Luego ~ BRIAN
